A FILM REVIEW:

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island is a 2012 American 3D sciences fiction adventure and family film directed by Brad Peyton. It is the second film in the Journey film series and the sequel to Journey to the Center of the Earth. Following the first film, the sequel is based on another Jules Verne novel, this time The mysterious Island. The main character are Dwayne Johnson, Michael Caine, Josh Hutcherson ,Vanessa Hudgens, and Kristin Davis

Brendan Fraser and Anita Briem did not return due to scheduling issues, but Hutcherson reprised his role. Jane Wheeler also did not return to play Liz (Sean's mother) and was replaced in the part by Kristin Davis. Dwayne Johnson played Sean's stepfather, who is forced to accompany Sean on the trip to find his missing grandfather, played by Michael Caine , on a mythical and monstrous island.

The important thing in “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island” is another enjoyable family friendly action movie starring the Rock that has heart, though a bit forced, and strangely enough only slightly more believable than his “The Tooth Fairy”. ‘Journey2’ has virtually nothing in common with the Jules Verne’s book but will entertain and thrill as long as you don’t think too hard or expect anything more. Parents with younger children should exercise extreme caution.

Although this film of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island easily beat box office predictions, making $27.6 million over the weekend and coming in third after unexpectedly strong performers. Journey 1 made over $240 million worldwide, making a 3D sequel inevitable.

The film ends of Journey 2 is a fun-filled adventure for the whole family. This time, teenager Sean Anderson goes to the South Pacific with his stepfather, Hank, to find Sean’s missing grandfather. Sean’s grandpa sent him a coded message leading them to the Mysterious Island from the famous Jules Verne book. Despite a strange hurricane blocking the way, they get to the island. Along for the ride is a helicopter tour pilot and his pretty teenage daughter. Sean’s grandfather is safe, but they discover the island is sinking back into the sea sooner than they calculated. The only way to escape is to find Captain Nemo’s hidden submarine, the Nautilus. So, Journey 2 The mysterious Island is the wonderful movie for family and everyone . All of you can touch with the adventure movie . I think this movie is very interesting for who love to adventure like movie
